Whats it take to keep her cool?
Whats it take to keep her cool? Just like the title says, what does it take to keep an ls1 cool and not have any heat issues whatsoever? I'm in Texas so its hot as hell. The car is a 1990 RX7 that will receive a turbo/intercooled ls1 and see tons of street duty.

LS motors aren't difficult at all to keep cool. They don't take anything special. I think the key is "assuming good airflow" like you said.
There was a recent thread about fans. Most guys just adapt a fan from a production vehicle. Fans from F bodys and Taurus's are very popular. You can pick one up for a tenth of those summit fans.
