Help!!! Ls1 no-start.

I am installing a LS1/4L60E into a street rod project using a Painless Performance #60608 harness which intergrates the LS1 into a regular chassis harness. I have all main power wires, sensors and grounds connected but have no spark and I don't think the injectors are firing. Where should I look next? This harness has a OBDII port with a light, and when the ignition switch is on the light is lit.

OK, I got it started. Now I have another problem. The engine runs for about 20-30 seconds and sounds great but just shuts off. The fuel pressure looks good the whole time. The OBDII light IS on when the engine is running, but goes out when it shuts off. Hope you guys can help me.

How did you disable or work around the VATS (vehicle anti theft system) in your PCM?

From what I have read it sounds like you could have a VATS issue like the above poster was saying. This can cause it to die after short period as you describe.
