Default Coolant Flow Direction

On an LS style motor (LQ-4) doesn't the water flow (hot) enter the bottom of the radiator then the cooler water exits the top to enter the water pump?
Are the LT -1 motors the ones that have the coolant go to the heads first.?

Thanks for the info.

No, the water pump just runs in reverse as opposed to a sbc water pump.

The thermostat is in the lower hose and controls the flow going into the motor
