Default neeeed hhheeeeeeellllpppppp!

i ahve a 02 5.3 from a tahoe mated to th350. stock dowel pins were too big to go into trans bell housing so i removed them. any info on replacement bellhousing to block dowel pins?????? info plus part number and websites would be appreciated. will sbc dowel pins work????? thanks in advance for any help!

I'd like to know also had a 4l60e trans bell housing that the dowel pins were too big, I thought ls and earlier housings were interchangeable??

I'm pretty sure they are the same. I know that many times corrosion can cause this phenom. I may be wrong but I have used early 4l60 from a sbc on a ls motor with the crank spacer

LS motors use the same pins as first gen SBC. I had to use offset dowel pins to align my bell. Just bought off the shelf Moroso units.

The pins are in a through hole. You can get a punch on them from the engine side to pop them out. At least they were on my aluminum LS2 block. Don't know if the iron blocks are different
