LU3 V6 Install in 75 Monza
Just scored a good deal on a 2007 LU3 4.3 V6 Vortec engine and 4L60 E transmission. Has computer, wiring harness, everything needed to drop it in and go. Problem, I need someone to do it for me who lives close to Macon, Georgia. My car is a 1975 Chevrolet Monza Towne Coupe with original 2.3 L 4 banger and 4 speed- it runs good but I want some more butt to it. I have a set of V8 factory frame mounts for it and a few other parts too. I will be getting new coil springs for the front shortly. Anybody out there can help me out on this? Looking for a street rod I drive anywhere- this is the first step.

You will most likely need custom mount plates. The factory Monza V8 plates will put the engine mounts 4.4" too far forward. If the Monza plates are used as a model, it shouldn't be too difficult to fabricate a set of plates that will move the mounts rearward.
Also check for interference between the drag link, inner tie rod ends (at full steering lock) and oil pan.
Other than these two points it should be a relatively easy swap.
