wondering how many have done this swap? i am using a newer 5.3 truck intake on 03 lq4 cable throttle body. found an intake cheap and scored a 90mm throttle body. wondering if anyone else has done this and noticed an improvement? swap was fairly straight forward will be firing it up tomo hopefully

 

I know someone who has an 04 lq4 running the newer 07+ intake with a 90mm throttle body, and he says he can really feel a difference.

 

put it on will have to tune and dial it in. but on first start up def hear the difference. seemed liek the throttle was snappier too. using a nick williams TB

 

should work fine. no problem.
90mm tb intake supposed to flow more than 78mm tb intake

 

i will see what the results are next week hopefully at lsx shootout. hopefully i see gains
