2000 S10 LS1 swap info?? Hey guys, im thinking about swapping an ls1 into my 2000 S10, right now its got the 4.3, auto... i was just wondering if anyone could point me towards some good info on this swap??
I was wondering what oil pan is needed, what motor mounts i need, and how much fabrication is needed to stuff the LS in there?
Any info would be appreciated

This is my 97 S10 with a 6.0 LQ4 swap. I am now doing a turbo build in the turbo forums. If you want some parts I have some I am going to sell. Swap motor mounts, Sanderson shorty headers, A750 fuel pump. Maybe some other stuff.

Motor mounts Taxman how much u wanting for them mounts. I'm just about ready to do my swap. I have a 2000 s10. It has the 8.8 explore rear-end done and crossmember done I'm just looking around for mounts.

Would u guys build a 5.3 with 706 heads or just get a set of 243 ? I'm eventually going to put a turbo on this thing around March keep that in mind, and I'm thinking it might be better to just bore this thing out to a 5.7 and advice would be greatly appreciated thx. And taxman ! My dd broke down Friday so I haven't been online much try'n to get this fixed I still want the mounts if u still that them. I just gotta check the funds in the morning
Its all good. I have them. Im about to post some stuff for sale though for swaps. I bought a header set for mine. So mounts, headers, fuel pump ect for sale. Just let me know.

I swapped my 2000 Hombre, you can find my thread in this section. I just don't understand all the turbo s10 appeal... my intake air temps are already really high in the summer, and everyone asks "when are you going to turbo it?" Maybe after I extend the engine bay 8" and install a refrigerator in the hood...
