LS1 Plug Wires I'm installing a '98 LS1 in a mid-engine sandrail and made a set of headers.
One of the tubes is close enough to the spark plug that I can't get the factory plug wire to fit.
Can anyone offer any advise in fabricating a custom plug lead that would have an angle on the plug side that would give me a shot at staying away from the header tube?

You can fabricate a longer one by using LT1 plug wires. The end that goes on the coil of the LS1 is the same size as the end that goes on the optispark of an LT1. You just have to use the end that goes over the spark plug from the LS1. Maybe this will help you.
