I will be doing this in the next couple weeks, did a trial fit and it doesn't look like it will be too bad
(69 gto/5.3/2002 camaro longtubes.. hooker i think, will have to check)

Hey Matt,
Let me know how this works out. i'm dropping an LY6 into a 69 GTO and can get a set of F-body longtubes cheap. Very interested to see if this works

I have the Dynatechs. 1 7/8" primaries, ceramic coated, excellent hardware and gaskets, fit my 69 Camaro perfect all for $425 shipped.

Even the oxygen sensors are moved to a 45 degree angle to avoid clearance issues. The only hold back is the numbers 5 and 7 plug wires will need to have an adjustable ends put on them. I bought MSD's set for $6. It comes with a pair for that.

I ended up going with the original dougs headers .. does anyonw have any expierance with them.. i got them from ricks first gen camaros

I am using pacesetters for a 4th gen in my 71 chevelle. Fit like they were made for it. The only thing that is kinda funky is the driver's side collector is turned out but that shouldn't be a problem. My engine is set very far back. If it is farther forward the passenger side header may contact the lower control arm mount.

Put them in my 67 ls swap they hang WAY..WAY to LOW 2.5'' to low

I'm using ats motor mounts and the ats t56 mount ... They look good but to low and they leak at the gaskets all ready ... FOR SALE CHEAP..

I used street and performance motor plates with stainless works headers,fit like a glove!!

Thanks!!

Never had any issues with our headers not working, unless you have a plate that locates the engine in a different location than the S&P mounts.
