Question 93-96 Impala's and Caprices

Has anybody else seen any badass Impala's and Caprices that are non-Lt1?? I think the one in last month's Hotrod had a standard small block??

I recently finished installing a modified 2001 LS1 & T56 in my 96 Impala SS. I spent about six months of weekends with some evenings in there as well. I have not had time to update the web site, but here is the old home page.

And here is a browse able directory of pictures.

I have been driving it for about 3 months now and it runs great. I do have somewhat of a traction issue. I recently installed these forgeline 17x11 wheels with 315/35 -17 Goodyear F1-GS D3 tires.

It is still up in smoke through first and a good part of second. I have pictures of the car with the wheels and tires on it, but they are not on the web site yet. I will put them up there tonight.

I am about to hook up the N20 with a progressive controller, but will not be able to use much of the 150 shot in first or second.

Any ideas of how to get into Hotrod?

Scott
