Default anyone running an iron block?

Hey guys, I have an iron 6.0. My question is what are you guys doing to mount the alternator and power steering? I want to use the f body set up with the alt down low on the drivers side and the PS right above it. My problem is the iron blocks dont have the 3rd hole to mount the bracket like the aluminum block has. The only thing I can find that works is the serpentine set up.... to much money.

Dont like the look of the alt up by the head. so the vett set up is out.

Thanks.

Most people drill out the block and tap it and have no problems mounting the f body front accesories.

I am not 100% sure on what you want to do, but I modified my truck stuff to work. Check out my photobucket, moving everything around was under $20.00. Maybe something you could use.

The boss for the hole you need is there it is just not drilled and tapped like on the aluminum blocks. Check out post # 139 on this link https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...lm7-t56-7.html he is running a 5.3 with f-body accessories with no problem. Just be mindful of how deep you are drilling when you drill your block. Take it slow and drill only as deep as you need.
