gas tank question

gas tank question hey guys im buildin a 67 c10 with a ls1/th400 and im on a BUDGET.
had a question about the fuel tank i wanted to use the fuel system off of my z28 and i was wondering if anyone on here has ever done this (mounted in the back of course).. looks like i would have to do some grinding on the frame.. but everything worked on my camaro and this would save me the cost of putting together a fuel system AND i could get rid of the in cab gas tank, not a big fan of that. (plus adds room for a speaker box

Don't see why you could not be creative and mount it way in the back behind the rear axle. Also act as a lil traction control ? LOL....
I may do the same on a 1980 C10, someday.....

thats where i was planning to put it, its gonna be a real tight squeeze tho. but i think im gonna try it to save money!
