Mustang diff ??

Mustang diff ?? Found a good deal on 89 mustang, not a V8. Doesn't matter cause if I get it ill be putting an LS in it of course. What I am trying to figure out is if it has the 8.8 or 7.5 rear. According to americanmuscle.com's faq all 87-93 GT and LX have 8.8's. Can anyone comfirm this? If it has the 7.5 im not even gonna bother

the 8.8 is cheap enough and can be had in just about any junk yard with limited slip for about 200 bucks in gear ranges from 3.23 all the way to 4.10. 3.73 is most common on explorers with a v-8, 4.10 is in the middle and on most with a tow package, and 3.23 are on ford explorers that are v-6 stripped down models. found this out when i was looking for a 8.8 for my jeep...the 4wd v-8 is the best option as it has limited slip and 4.1 gears already installed....
at the most you'll need to redo the spring perches and shock mounts...not a big deal and any weld shop or muffler shop should be able to do it if you cant.
