LS1 to LS3 swap in a 98 T/A?

LS1 to LS3 swap in a 98 T/A? Just wondering how many of you have done it, about how much it would cost to have it done and where I can get the best deal on an LS3 if I decide to take the plunge. My car is a 98 Trans Am with an aftermarket hood and ram air sys. Any ideas? I'm open to other options besides an LS3 or engine swap.

im sure theres a sticky about what you will need to do a LS3 conversion in a 98+ F-body.
I wanted to do the same but i realized it would be cheaper to go with a LS2 402 instead , and still have +500Rwhp..
AES racing is a sponsor here and they have great prices , also you can find alot in texas speed aswell..

hopefully that link works. I have a LS3 in my '99 SS and I cant stop smiling and giggling every time i drive it. Unfourtunatly I can't give you much personal knowlege about the swap because I bought it already converted. I will warn you that you should def plan a stronger rear end with the swap. Mine has sheared R&P gears twice with the stock 10-bolt.
