LSX - 1967Firebird I have completly restored and just painted my '67 firebird and its bad ***! Ill post a pic as soon as I learn how. Now I need an engine I'm going to need some help here guys/gals. I want a late model LSX for its fuel economy performance and reliability with around 400hp. My struggle is with finding year make and model best suited for my application. Iv'e been looking on ebay and have seen some nice engines but before I hit "buy it now" I need some education. At first I was going for the Vette but it has a rear transmision/transaxel and that definatly wont fit. So now Im leening towards a GTO. Do I just buy the engine with the ecm and just give it power and fuel? I know it cant be that easy, so what modifications will i need to make to my bad *** bird? Electrical/mechanical/structural? I understand that I will need a conversion kit once I make the purchase.
