Took the leap... Been on the fence for a long time contemplating whether i wanted to send my wire harness in, or do it myself.
I have been working on it a couple hours here and there and i am almost done. Sooo glad i am doing it myself!
Its like a big puzzle thats really fun, except if you mess up you could burn your whole car down. ha. Its not really that hard, just intimidating, and time consuming.
Started with a 2000 LS1 A4 computer and harness. Making it fit into a 1995 LT1 M6.
I removed all the unnecessary things such as air, egr, vats, evap, traction control, cruise control, and tcc.
I need A/C because lady friends might get a little hot during summer
Questions that i still need to solve
1. Deleting or rerouting the wires on the C101 connector. Since the LT1 doesnt have this connector. I have like two wires that i dont know where they go:
C101 K---> Ignition Retard Signal (Its pin #53 on the red PCM connector, its labeled as Spark Retard Signal)
-Where does this one go? I cant find any LT1 plugs that have this as a wire.
C101 C---> Idle Speed Control Motor Relay Output-Coil (thats what it says it is on my connector pinouts diagrams)
-I followed this wire and it goes to a connector on the coils, but where do i reroute this wire?
Ill have more questions later but these are the ones that i had on my notes today.
