Default an fittings

hey guys, should i put teflon tape on the an fitting threads? or just leave it alone?

my car is holding fuel and not seeping anywhere, but wasnt sure if i was supposed to do that or just lube them with motor oil (which is what i did)

No teflon... Just lube them.

x2... the threads dont seal on an fittings, the taper/flare surfaces do, tape will just make it tough to get it tight.

thats what i thought. i remember hearing someone it was cheap insurance, but ifgure he was full of ****. i just oiled the threads.
