3rd gen Drive shaft.
I got my engine and trans together but before i put it in, i need to find out if anybody knows the measurement for a drive shaft or can my original shaft fit?
If it helps i still have the stock rear end.

Pocket may correct me, but as I understand it, those red mounts sold by Hawks, Spohn, and maybe BMR do move it all back an inch.
If you have the car itself on stands, you may be able to get the stock driveshaft in, BUT it'll bottom out when you let the car down.
Now, since I used to build driveshafts for a living, for a couple of years, I do know the slip yoke is supposed to be about 1" from bottomed when the car is parked on it's own 4 tires.
