Default tensioner pulley???

Have most people just purchased a new tensioner pulley for their water pump swap? It looks like I could cut 1 hole off & mill the back of the truck tensioner to line it up with other pulleys. Any other suggestions? Here is a pick of what I have set up. I don't have a pic of the tensioner I want to modify.

Brand new tensioners are $35 off ebay. Why not?

I just had my buddy mill the old one. The engine had about 60k on it. It should still be good, right? If so, I saved $35. Here is a pic:
