Default park neutral plug

I think this is the park neutral plug. The harness that I purchased did not have this. What does it do exactly? It looks like it has only 2 pinks & a black/ground. Can I just wire those to a ground & a power? Thanks for any input.

It has range signals, backup lite, and neutral position signal, clutch start signal in it, if it's wired stock.
I see you have an LQ9... what is the harness out of?

The harness is a new one from PSI. I have the one from the LQ9 engine, but I have cut and hacked so it almost unrecognizable. I was not meant for wiring.

Does it just have a 12v and a ground? Nothing to the ECM?
(Please ignore the bobo shift lever, it has been repaced)

Years may differ, but my wiring diagram shows 4 wires going to the PCM, a black/white, white, yellow, and a gray. It also has a ground, but of course that just goes to ground.

Correct....[Mine is an 05 Hummer trans w/ a Howell harness]. I am using the PNP sw to trigger a neutral start relay on my 55 Chev.
If you need more info, send me an email..I'll advise as to how I did it.
You may also need the tool to adjust it, so it reads the shifter position correctly.
You can adjust it manually if you have a helper...
Trans in neutral, attempt to start. Yes? Tighten the bolts.
No, move sw until engine attempts to start, when it does, tighten the bolts.

Thanks,
Can you post a copy of that diagram?

OG,
Thanks, I will likely send you an email when I try to finish this up in the next couple of weeks.

The way I understood it (I could be wrong, likely the case), is if your car has the PNP switch under the dash on a stock body harness, then you don't need that plug or tranny mounted switch...The PNP switch on my Gbody is under the dash at the base of the steering column. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong..Going through this right now on mine and hoping to fire it this week.
