1968 pontiac conversion: engine location

1968 pontiac conversion: engine location my tranny is dead center, the motor is a 1/4 inch off center to the left,
is this a major problem for the drive train?
Note: this happen because while welding the motor mounts , it pulled without me noticing it.
(P.S. always tack weld first)
I may have to cut and re-weld my home make bracket mounts.

No. it shouldn't be, the U-Joints should be able to handle that. just make sure your pinion angle and Engine/Trans tilt are within spec's so that you will avoid harmonics as much as possible.. get the engine and trans in alignement, that being parallel with the frame
