Default Who converts harnesses?

I did the search but the ebay links aren't active anymore. I'm not looking for a new harness like speartech or howell. I've checked out chevythunder. I'm wondering who else will take my old harness and convert it for me. If yo have the name of a company or links I would appreciate it.
thanks
Scott

Speartech can rework your stock harness too for $450. Subheading " LS-24x LS1, LS6, Vortec" then its at the bottom.

I was talking to Speartech this morning. Nice guy, the LS2 I have is the 58x reluctor and that seems to cost more. Plus I need it switched over to auto which is going to be another $150. The ECM and TCM tuning is another huge chunk on top of that whereas others do the ECM for free with the harness work or substantially less. I'm sure they do great work but there are a lot of other guys doing harness work.
I've already found a number that are cheaper. I thought perhaps there were some guys on this board doing the work and it turns out there is at least one. Anybody else or have you used anybody other than Speartech, Howell and wait4me?
thanks guys

If you wanna cheap out on wiring you might as well not do a swap. Skimp on other things not wiring and tuning.

Thanks. There are solid companies with great track records that I've found through this site, one of which is $250 bellow the big two names for the same quality work. There are also individuals on this site that can do it. If you know of any, let me know. There's a difference between being smart and being cheap. I'd rather not toss out money to say "so and so did my harness," instead of shopping around and spending my money wisely.

Also thanks to those that pm'd me with leads.

X2. I need to get mine done, either me or someone else.

Anybody done theirs(not by a sponsor/vendor) to where you can add SES light, obd2 port and such? If that does take too much cash to modify myself I might just get a new one.

I have one of their harnesses. All new wiring and connectors for the same price as a "rewire" from other companies.

I didn't know if aknovaman wanted his name out there but he's also on the web so lsxswap.com shows off his work. lt1swap.com is out there as well and I'm told he's a member here as well. retrols is the former retrolsx - you've seen Shawn's forum and pan no doubt. He's currently doing some other work for Holley which will make swaps a lot better. He's not the cheapest but he's also hundreds less than some of the big names mentioned plus we all know he's qualified based on his track record. Its not about being cheap - its about doing the digging and the thinking.
Could I do it myself? Yes, and I could prolly extract teeth myself as well but it doesn't mean I'm the best person for the job. I lerned that the hard way when I painted my dash twice before calling in a pro who did it the whole thing in a fraction of the time it took me and it looked like a mirror.
So I'm going with one of the guys mentioned in this thread. I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers by endorsing one or not mentioning another. I just wanted to see what my options were and now somebody doing the search in the future will have more than 3 choices as well. If you guys know of anybody else post it up and thanks for all the PM's.

I aggree to knowing ones limits. Its kind of like painting your fence. You could take a day off from work and paint it. or go to work and make more than you would pay someone else to paint it. Depends on what your time is worth.....or if your salary.

Im an electrical engineer by trade, so modifying a wire harness is like an engine builder removing an intake mani.

If you want to go new standalone you have two options with the 58x. An E38 harness with T42 harness for the trans, plus ECM,tcm. Or a 24 x harness with a lingenfelter box. The PSI 1012 harness is $499 and around $260 for a lingenfelter box. Sell you harness for $150-200 on eBay to offset some of the cost. Just my 2c.

Good luck getting $150 to $200 for a used harness. If so, get in line folks........I have 12-15 harnesses I'd sell immediately.
