Hello. I am swapping the LM7 into my 240sx. I read somewhere that you need to install the f body or Corvette accessories for it to fit. Does anyone know if this is true? It's not a problem if I need to just curious if I do for it to fit.

The fbody accessories will have the best clearance. I have seen the vette accessories as well but I think it looks silly with that alternator way up high. You should check out silviav8forums as well, there is a ton of good info on there.

 

Corvette accessories, F body accessories, Truck accessories.

That is the order of closest to furthest (least to most clearance problems) to the engine.
