Default VVT Harnesses

Hey Guys,
I've been looking for an LY6 harness on here, ebay, craigslist, and every boneyard I could for the last 6 months with no luck.

Does anyone know what wiring harnesses are compatible with an LY6 motor? I've got the E38 ECU. It's going into a 69 GTO and I'm keeping the VVT. Would prefer not to drop >$500 on a custom harness.
I've read the 2010+ 4.8s have VVT. Will those harness work, or am I limited to LY6, L92, and L76?

Just looking for a list of vehicles, motors that have a harness suitable for a 2008 LY6 motor. I don't care about the TCM or trans harness as I'm running a T56

Thanks
Jim

Most the truck motors 2010 up are VVT now. But doubt you will fine one that isn't stripped and keep with the motor.

I would just get a Gen IV truck harness and have someone add what you need VVT etc... Or just DIY not that hard.

$500 bucks is not alot for a harness mod if you have to. The complete harness are more like $1000-$1500 for the Gen IV stuff.

So you just want to buy a stock LY6 engine harness? Put up a wanted ad in the parts wanted section here Ive had good luck with doing that for some things. If that doesnt work try Schram auto wreckers they specialize in GM trucks and have great pricing

I've already done that twice, and checked with Schram a few months ago. No worries, I picked up a L92 engine and dash harness off ebay this morning.

thanks for the help guys
