it could be worse hello to all my ls1tech fam. im currently rewiring my '87 c10 with a new fuse panel & wiring. as i did a systems check, with the lm7/4l60e & engine harness, the car idles terribley. it has 58 psi at idle, but when the throttle is pressed it almost dies out, only to come back to the terrible idle again. it ran great b4 the new wiring. the vehicle was drive tuned. has anyone had this problem? what did u do to solve it? by the way the, no i havent checked for codes due to the new wiring. any help would be greatly appreciated.
a few answers hello pocket. no i did not ohm out the engine harness. the engine harness stayed attached to the motor/tranny while i replaced/routed the fuse panel. i spoke to one of my buds he says it sounds like a fuel pressure problem. 1) so tomorrow, ill check for voltage to the fuel pump. 2)if that pans out, ill check for connections dealing with the fuel pressure, such as pump & filter. ill talk to you later ls1tech fam. thanks pocket. keep wrenchin friends.
