LS in a stang ok, this has prob been beat to death, lol-i had an LS in my chevelle, and have some leftover stuff
early 90's mustang, was a 4 cyl
just a quick rundown, what is needed to mount the engine, i'll prob run a carb
what pan, ex manifs.-anybody make a kit-this would be kind of a budget thing
i did a search, but would be nice to see all on one page

Aje makes a good k-member you can buy there kit with coil overs and tubular a-arms or u can run stock control arms and springs u just need to buy a $40 spring perch. Youll also need a f-body oil pan and headers ive always used kooks they fit great and look good there just a little pricey but dynatech also makes swap headers for a little cheaper im not sue how they fit.Or there are guys using 351 headers and just cutting the flange off and welding ls1 flanges on. hope this helps

Stock 4.6 k member + mounts and some half *** decent fab skills. Will work nicely (Ill let you know how mine goes next weekend when I make my mounts)
For exhaust I found a cnc/dwg files for the header flange on here and I had them cut at my college for free, then will continue to fab the rest of the exhaust after the motor is sitting in the car.
The link below is to a thread I started and Mulletnotch had some VERY helpful information that saved me alot of money. Building your own k member and exhaust will save you anywhere from 500-1500 - pending your choice of headers.
