sbc to lsx motor mount adapter
Standard plates:

for 1" set back, just move the Engine Mount (Not the block mounting) holes 1" froward and drill and tap.
Early BRP Plates:

1" setback plates.:

I had used 1/4" steel on my Chevelle and 1/2" Alumimum for my Nova.
For the template of the 1" setback that I posted. I also move the motor mount hole about 3/8" lower (well rasie the engine a bit) to help clearance the pan and also align the long bolts. Which is also like the Edelbrock plates anyway.
