Talking Problem I had

My 402 swap was difficult. The motor was running hot and couldn't cool it down. The two ports were blocked in the back from the factory. So I bored a hole in both back ports and runned the lines to the front ports and ran into the top radiator hose. Don't have any problem with over heating anymore.
Just FYI

I picked up a second crossover pipe for the rears on mine for good measure. the l92 truck one (12605716) fit my bill perfectly since I'm running L92 heads and the LS3 intake. will be tying the front and rear together and tapping the water pump

Did you try "bleeding" each of the ports?? If you get the air out then there should not be any more in there unless your coolant level runs low again. If you have a continous problem with air build-up then something else may be wrong in your system.
