Default 3rd Gen swap. Wiring harness?

Just want to see how everyone went about there harness on there swap.
Did you build your own using the tpi/tbi harness and the ls1 harness? Did you have Pocket do it? Did you buy a stand alone?

Thanks

Built a pigtail harness to connect my '82 chassis C100 and C207 connectors to the LS1 harness connectors, by using an '00 truck harness and junkyard 3rd gen C100 and C207 hoods.

NAPA had the MetriPak pins, truck harness had the right wires in the right gauge and color as well as the LS1 counterpart connectors.

I integrated my LS1 Harness into my Car, I know it's not a 3rd Gen F-body, but the wiring is similar.

If you are a member of thirdgen.org there is a member there named Pocket (think hes a member here too of the same name) that will custom build you a harness that's plug and play into your car.

with the help of Pocket (he's around here sometimes too, but always on tgo) and a Helms manual, I modified my factory C100 & C207 plugs to connect to the new engine harness I pulled from a 00 truck

Cainholio - do you have the Napa part numbers for tthe MetriPak replacement pins ?. I have been looking for pins but not much luck, I have not tried Napa yet. and if you have the part number. that would help. (both male and female).

I have rebuild my LS1 harness into a standalone and rebuilt one of the fuse boxes and now want to connect them with the MetricPak connectors so that I can removed thing without removing the whole harness (if needed).

thanks.

They had a big steel slide-out tray that had compartments w/ each pin type, no part#s unfortunately. I just walked up to the counter and showed them an old pin for an example.
