Sanderson headers, fried plug boots, suggestions?

That's still better than paying $350 for a new set AND having to rebuild them

I would get a whole bunch more fiberglass and maybe even some asbestos and wrap those boots/wires about 10 or 15 times around . Or a wafer thin piece of ceramic tile not that that would be an easy task but would work . Good luck

I the headers are wrapped as much as possible and I used insulators on the boots. I'm pretty sure my fried boot woes are behind me now. The heat reduction under the hood from the wrap is amazing.
