lsx into a 2000gt im swapping a head cam ls1(for now) into my 2000 mustang gt.
i have a few questions yall might be able to help with.
im going to use a th350 or th400 .. can i use a stock mustang shifter? i will be cruising in the car more than racing it.. and want it to appear stock..or how hard would it be to use a 4l60e..?advice?

Yes you can use the ford shifter w/ a little modding to the end of the cable. I am running a 4l60e with the ford drive shaft. You just need to get a conversion joint from Precision(forget the part number) ,didn't even need to modify the driveshaft length,and a 27 spline slip yoke.
I ran the AJE crossmember for my swap it really opens up some room for headers.
