4L60e flex plate

Putting a LS1 in 57 Chevy, trying to mate up a 94 Z28 4l60e to a 99 c5 ls1
Bought GM # GM 12551367 & 12563532 which is the adapter and flex plate for a 6.0 w 4l80e I guess that where I went wrong
The torque converter don't fit the flex plate. bolt pattern is larger on my new flew plate
Please tell me where I mess up

Ls1 mated to 4L60e should not need an adapter for the flex plate, and any LS1-6 flexplate should work. 4L80e is totally different.

4l60e that I have is the early ones that was hook to a LT1
That the reason I need the adapter
I think I just need to long gate the holes in the flexplate for the converter

i Ran into a similar issue. 6.0 bolted to older v6 4l60e. At first i elongated the holes and it bolted up fine, but feeling like that wasnt the right thing to do i removed it and went to the dealership many times looking for different flywheels, no luck, went to daaco trans and they were puzzled.

so last resort i went to Hughes and asked if they had a conversion flywheel for me. They responded "o yeah just elongate the holes and it will bolt right up" and they were serious. 2 weeks wasted, but its bolted up now.

I think I have it. See, I have a 4L60-E from a '95 Z28 I used to own, and I attached it to my '01 LM7. I used a used LM7 flexplate, and traded in the LT1 converter as the core charge for a reman LS1 converter from PDQ Parts. Their part number is "4L-1". It's listing notes '98-up Camaro, Firebird, 5.3L Truck, 5.3L Suburban. Code TMAX, TMBX. Low Stall. 12.5" dia. 1.704" pilot, 1.748" hub, 30-spline.
It all bolted together just fine.
