ls6 intake with out threads for throttle bracket
ls6 intake with out threads for throttle bracket Hi, I have a 2001 corvette ls6 intake and I bought the lokar throttle bracket, the problem is that I have no threads in the intake. What has anyone done to be able to use a throttle bracket on these type of intakes. Thanx for the help

Guessing you drill a 5/16 hole and press the insert in. It looks like the bolt may expand the insert to hold it in place, due to the slits it has. Search the part number on the bag for a place to buy them.
I got them from drillspot.com but I'm sure there are other places. I paid about $10 shipped for a bag of 20 or so inserts. No drilling required, they just press in and expand as the bolt is inserted.
Interesting, I'll have to save that info because I couldn't find any when I looked. I just stole mine from my truck intake and pressed them into the Corvette intake holes, been working for years.
