What to do with the 3rd power steering line outlet on the pump?

What to do with the 3rd power steering line outlet on the pump?

Since i have had my car going the powersteering setup has never been quite right. The pump had been ran dry several times before and finally last week it quit working. The question i have is this, i only have 1 pressure line and 1 return line for my powersteering box.....what is the proper thing to do to get rid or block off the third return line on a lq4 power steering pump. I did have a piece of rubber line with a bolt in the end to block it off.

I know there is a proper way to do this i just cant remember how

If your setup isn't leaking then there is nothing wrong with how you have it. You you want it to look a little cleaner the the parts store have rubber caps you can use.

it just seems like it could be done a better way......the rubber hose has a bolt with a hose clamp on it and i can see fluid bubbling around the bolt....i just thought there was a better way....
