LSx? And 6L80e Questions Hi
Complete newbie here.. Been reading as much as I can in the forums here.
I'm about to start a 40 Olds StreetRod.
I'm thinking about going with a 5.3 Truck motor and 6L80E transmission.
Two questions..
Which is the best Truck motor I should look for .. Bang for bucks I guess..
I know the 6L80e has to be matted with at 58x motor.. Can any LSx type 5.3 be converted to 58x to work?
My plan is to convert over to a car intake too...
I also have notice there are a lot of AWD and 4WD 6L80e for sale..
What is involved in converting it to 2WD? Tailshaft Housing and Output shaft? Anything else?
Has anyone converted one of these, that might have part numbers and experience?
