L92(E38) / 4L70E(T42) combo?
L92(E38) / 4L70E(T42) combo? Currently have my hands on a 68 Camaro with the above powertrain combo installed. The E38 OS is from an 08 Escalade, and the T42 is flashed with some sort of code for a 4spd.
This thing runs and shifts great... Untill you go WOT. At that point it still shifts great, but starts in with a limiter of some sort that makes the ETC and Timing oscillate rapidly in sort of an on/off fashion.
Ive removed every bit of torque management possible with HPT, and then verified with EFI live. Still my HPT scans show that the closing part of the ETC is being requested by some sort of Trans torque management.
Ive exhausted every possible programming change except for a new OS...
Is there an OS out there that could be easily adapted to this combo?
Anyone else have a similar combo and manage to defeat this issue?
