LS engine in '61 Impala

LS engine in '61 Impala New to the site, so hopefully I'm posting this in the correct section....
In the next few months I would like to get started on building my 1961 impala(total restoration). I would like to go with the LS1 or LS337 and 4L60 powertrain. It is my understand that the LS series engine blocks are all the same. My question is are there bolt on motor mounts that I can use for my impala or will I have to do some welding/modifications to the frame? Also does anyone have info on what type of oil pan I would have to use for this application? Lastly, would there be any special mounts for the 4L60 tranny. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You will have to use adapter plates to get the engine mounted (they will adapt the LS bolt pattern to small block chevy frame motor mounts). Regarding transmission, for my LT1 swap I used an aftermarket crossmember(Phoenix Transmission) and a Caprice 4L60E transmission tailshaft housing (to move the trans mount rearward). Biggest problem I had was getting the 4L60E to clear the trans tunnel. It was tight.
