Small update. I bought my paint, I ended up with a completely different option. Toyota Super White, I wanted a nice clean car and you really can get much cleaner than a nice bright white. I also think I have my wheels decided on they are rota torque in a gunmetal finish.

its been a while since I updated but my motor and trans arrived. I ordered a bunch more parts and started doing some installing. I picked up a eps 226/234 112 cam, pac 1518 springs, pushrods, melling oil pump, and katech rod bolts. Yesterday I put the cam and valvesprings in and would of done more but I didnt have bolts for my engine stand. So once I get the bolts I will beable to flip the motor pull the pan, change the oilpump put the new pickup tube and torque the katech rod bolts. I finally seperated the motor and trans and found the stock clutch is still in there. That is what I expected so Im going to order one before I drop it all into the car. Im just not sure what clutch I want to go with. I really would like to stay with a full disc instead of puck style, Im not big on on/off clutches. Monster stage 2 is the front runner right now, but I am considering the diamond and oz700 with xgrip.
a couple pics kinda shitty but its progress.

Well I have been slacking for a while but I have some progress now, the motor is in the mounts trans in and headers in place. I still need to put the starter in so I left the headers loose, I figured it would be easier that way.

well good luck with the swap, I didn't have any problem installing mine, I did have a sikky motor mount pull apart after 8 months not sure why got the solid aluminum ones now no problems at all.

Some small progress I have a few things like coolant hoses, power steering, and the throttle cable is working like it should. I'm still waiting on my fuel system parts to come in, and I need to figure out how I'm going to mount my fuel cell. I plan to mount the fuel cell under the car so I need to cut the floor out and raise it a little. I need to finish my clutch pedal install, and fab exhaust and air intake. I want to run 3" y pipe into a single 4" exhaust but i don't know how well it will fit. I guess I need to make a template. Any body running a spintech 4"?
