Wanting to put an LS2 with t56 in my truck.

Im finding some from vettes and GTOs for about 3500-5000 with everthing and mid mileage. What do those prices seem like to you?

Also maybe a 2wd tbss ls2 and auto trans for around 4-6k.

I think those seem like bout normal prices. I will also say to get as much of the drivetrain as possible. I have found some wrecked gto's on eBay and what not for $5-6k imo that would be a better deal.

 

Looks pretty normal. I really wish I could remember the person I got my GTO package from, not one thing missing and everything was in perfect condition. Need to keep people like that in business.

 

Hell yeah...if you remember let me know. And yeah a wrecked GTO, vette, or tbss for that price would be better

 

For what it's worth, the guys on the TBSS forum complain of weak transmissions.

Yeah the 4l60e/65e is probably the worst tranny I have ever seen or dealt with aside from the dodge stuff.
