LQ4 Oil pressure problems!!

LQ4 Oil pressure problems!! Hi I just picked up an 02 LQ4 out of a 1500 suburban with a 109K on it, the story is that it was having oil pressure problems, when the engine is cold it would have oil pressure as it warms up driving down the road the oil pressure drops off to nothing and the engine would start ticking!! they had the pressure switch changed along with the oil and the problem was fixed for a while then came back!! Anyone have any ideas on this or is this an LS problem???? Thanks

Engine work!! I was told that the Head gaskets were done no to long ago !! Im thinking something might be in the pan getting pulled into the pickup screen!! because if you let this thing cool down oil pressure comes back!! im going to pull the pan to take a look if i find **** in the pan i wonder if its worth cleaning it up and putting a new pump and pickup in it!!
