S-10 potential project question............. I know this is not typical but I am needing some opinions....
Looking for an S10 for my next project and I found a good candidate but it's got a freakin aftermarket sun/moonroof installed. It seems pretty clean and actually looks fairly factory. No leaks, wind noise. Looking for opinions as to whether I should just keep looking or is the roof not that big of a deal...
I need a daily driver badly so that is a factor but I am needing some input.

The S10 is not a unibody vehicle. It is on a full frame and the body of the truck provides very little structal support as it is just bolted on with four 1/2" bolts thru rubber bushings. I wouldnt let the roof sway you if it looks good and doesnt leak. I have a 98 S10 myself that I have been wanting to swap badly. Had a LS1 sitting in the garage that was destined to go in, but finances said otherwise and i had to let it go. I am still hopefull i can make it happen though.
