Fuel return Hi All,
I am swapping a 2005 Chevy 8.1 in a 85 chevy K 30. The engine has no port for a fuel returnline at the Intake Manifold .
How can i solve the problem with the return line ?
If a return even necessary?

Here is a popular example of a return style fuel setup....it is one of the "Sticky" at the top of this "CONVERSIONS & HYBRIDS" column.

I want to add that I do not use the separate filter as shown in the diagram.
After speaking with John @ SPEARTECH, he told me that the filter adds too much pressure to the external pump. John added that because I already have a sock/strainer in the fuel tank, that this, when combined with the filter which is part of the filter/regulator would be a safe bet.
Please do a search for other Corvette filter/reg threads. You'll find other examples which use Russell connectors, instead of the barbed fittings which you'll see in the example above. This is what I used.
