you could of done what i did..mine have a double sleeve in them which is no problem seeing i have washers taking up space on mine because i dont like how aje makes it where there bushings slide out to take up all the space..

but my uprs had there sleeves and then i got sleeves on my k mem when i bought it new..i thought i was done..turns out the sleeves for the aje just slide into the uprs sleeve fine an take up all the space..worked out great

I am hoping to use the GM muscle car pan I have now. I have seen several people using truck pans, so I am hoping one of these will allow the conversion pan as it is not as deep as the truck pan and offers additional clearance up front.

The muscle car pan will hang way to low. It will be 2" below the rack.

Fbody is good for a street car but if you are going to race it I would get a moroso pan with better oil control

Supposedly the truck pan guys are only having to cut a little over an inch. The conversion pan is over an inch shorter than the truck pan already.

Why would you buy a pan for $150the then modify it and the pickup tube when you can buy one that needs no mods for just over $200

Does it allow for the use of the stock power steering rack?

I already HAVE the conversion pan, and I am hoping to be able to use is rather than buying a new pan.

i have this and its the most "normal" looking pan for the swap. it hangs down about 1/2 an inch lower than the f body pan but it looks better under there to me.

When I called AJE to price things, they asked me if my car was going to be a DD or mostly a track car...My car is gonna mainly be a DD so they told me they could weld in 4 more gusset tubes as a "road race" option for $40...Cheap insurance as far as I'm concerned...Stiffens it up and makes it better for a DD...Great guys to deal with...

I opted for the "road race" k-member too. From what I can tell it's only got 2 additional tube gussets but $40 well spent if you ask me.

Oh, and my f-body pan fits like a glove.
