LS6 backfire

Hi! I recently got my ls6 swap into my 73 z28. It runs great, but when I get to stop sign, I've notice some backfiring. What would cause the engine to do that?? Thank you for all your advice and opinion.

What kind of backfire? Loud banging out of the exhaust? i just drive mine for the first time today and when i came of the freeway i noticed a few pops from the exhaust, it just sounded like a lack of backpressure. Might be different though.

It's coming from the exhaust. It usually happens everytime I'm bout to come to a stop. It doesn't happen when I'm driving.

Ditto for me. The engine still needs a dyno tune, and I know it's running rich.
This could be the reason for the backfire. After the tune, I'll know better.
