Default Tranny crossmember???

Ive got a question for all the ls1 to lt1 swappers. I recently started and drove my 96 v6 to l92 conversion. I only drove it around the block at low speeds but I loved every minute of it. Question is, what is the correct way, or best way to take care of the tranny crossmember issue? The one I have on it is lt1 stlyle. The holes seemed to be a little off, but wit a little,......sorry a lot of prying, I was able to bolt it up. I know this won't work since the rubber part of the mount is stretched out of it's original shape, but after about 9 months of work, I had to drive it.

I've read some posts where the ls1 crossmember was the answer. Also that I needed to fab a piece up to get it to work or drilling new holes. I'm stumped.

Any help would've appreciated

easy and quick solution would be to redrill the holes if it will line up ok. if not cut and weld to make it match up as you need.

But like you stated. Try a LS1 (late 4th gen) and it should work. (I have one or two laying around).
