Default stalling problem.

The car is an 89 rx7 with ls1/ t56 in it.
The problem started today after trying to roll start the car. The car when it does start jumps to 3500 rpm and then dies. It is an 02 motor with a throttle cable instead of drive by wire. When the car does start and it spikes to 3500 rpm, the throttle cable gives no response to the motor. I have checked that the fuel pump and filter are doing their jobs. It is almost like the car starts and then something in the wiring turns off the pump after a minute. Could anyone give me advice on this? Maybe an ecm glitch? Maybe a problem with VATS.

Try pulling error codes.

I know my Toyota did just that went the air plumbing to the MAF came disconnected.

Why are you roll starting it? Is your battery fully charged?
