finding ls1s/trannys

how much did you pay for yours and where did u get it?

also did you just junk the original engines/trannys?

$2800 out-the-door for a 2000 SS motor and 4L60E trans with all accesories, looms and "bits"

Had 22k when it drove to the accident.. Got it at a wrecking yard

I got 02 Ls1 with less than 30 miles on it for 3 large. It came out of my ZL1 before the conversion.

I found mine on Ebay:

I got a 99 Transam LS1 with 81K miles. came with all accessories, wire harness, computer, etc. for $2216 (shipped) Did compression test yesterday, had to replace one broken valve spring, everything A-OK now.

Also picked up a T-56 Tranny from a 99 Camaro SS with 24K miles, complete clutch included, for $1450 shipped.
