Default Fuel tank choice

I have read a few posts about fuel tanks and need to figure out which one to buy! I have a choice of carb or fuel inj both in 3/8" S.S. If I use an external pump can I use the carb($200) cheaper or should I use the fuel inj? Thanks

That's kinda vague... Run whatever tank is in the car. Your choice of tank won't matter when it comes to the induction system you want to run. Decide that 1st, then the pump.

If I use the carbureted model then I used an external pump? If I use the fuel injection model then I use an internal pump? Like a Walbro 255 pump for my 64 impala.
