monte carlo trying to put lq4
i have a 87 monte carlo i have a lq4 6.0 motor .i want to know i want do i need to get to put this motor in my monte carlo ... and i want to put the ls1 intake on it .. and wat serpatine can i use ... ? im new here...

Dude, you gotta do some reading on here. Lots of info out there if you look. Use the search and read the stickies.

If you want to swap the LS1 intake for a PERFORMANCE gain, dont bother cuz it wont do you any good. If you want to do it for appearance, have at it. There are a few posts about how to do it and what you need on the performancetrucks page.
You can use whatever accessory drive you want really. F car works, but you will have to cut the frame for the a/c compressor if you want that. Truck acc works, and the alternator will fit under the hood as well as the fugly truck intake if you dont set the engine up too high.
G body swaps are so common now, there is tons info about them if you just look around a bit.
