I like the non split loom look as well but I am a heavy equipment tech and I always hated some of the stuff engineers designed that is not user friendly or mechanic friendly and definitely not diagnostic friendly, with the non split loom it would be a big hassle if you have to trace a short or replace or add any wires, and I am pretty certain at some point or another you will have to slice open that pretty non split loom.

you obviously have the skill. If you can make the time just do it yourself. Get it all laid out how you want it ran and test the harness. Then it is just depinning the harness and running it piece by piece through the loom. It is time consuming but not difficult.

Where would I find a wiring diagram for an LS3 / T56 setup to make my own harness?

I would check out the thread on this forum with some pinouts. Also look at lt1swap.com and autozone.com has lot of wiring diagrams.

I used the Speartech harness for my g-body swap. John asked me where I wanted to mount the computer and what emissions equipment I was going to use and then he fabbed it up. John even told me what model year sensors to get that would work best with my application. The harness was so easy to install it was amazing. I thought it was going to be a nightmare but it was far from the case. Everything worked like it was supposed to. I don't know much about the gm performance harness other than tuning the computer on them is a pain for some reason.

thats what im still looking for specifics on. ive read that theyre a pain, but nobody says why. most other threads are 09 and older where people claimed they couldnt be tuned. now that we know thats not true, what are the issues?

at this point i may call john and see how much his programming of the ecu is costing. i dont need the service since my tuner is going to set up a base tune to allow me to work out the bugs before we strap it down to the dyno.

Thats good to know. Hopefully I will be at that point with my Speartech harness this summer. I've been kinda dreading it.

Psiconversion has harnesses for almost any combo, including ls3 with a 4l60e, 4l80e, and 6l80e (which gmpp doesn't).

I'm building an Ultra4 car with an '08 LY6 with longtube headers and LS3 intake backed by a '10 (I'm told) 6L80. I've got the harness done already, but can you guys flash my 08 E38 to work with the 2010 trans? Also, can you tune my trans with a corvette flash to enable tap shifting?

I'm about 90 minutes from Tom's River, and my team mate lives in Brick. Do you offer live tuning or just bench tuning?
